The Burden She Carries explores the emotional and physical weight many women carry in relation to reproductive health and bodily autonomy. Through this work, The Flowers I never Received or Gave, I reflect on personal experience while also speaking to a broader collective reality shaped by pain, expectation, vulnerability, and resilience. The piece examines the body not only as something lived within, but as something politicized, controlled, and deeply personal, centering feminist perspectives through intimacy and emotional tension.
